Chunman Fan
Skills/Experience
Graduated and received her B.Sc and M.Sc degree in Telecommunication engineering at the University of Xi’dian, P.R.China. She worked on the Satellite Image Processing in the Chinese Academy of Science, Beijing, where she received the Erasmus Mundus scholarship in 2007. She received another M.Sc degree in the Space Technology and Physics from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, France and Luleå University of Technology, Kiruna, Sweden. This master thesis “An integrated electronic ground supporting equipment for CIMEX (Convection and Interfacial Mass EXchange)” was preformed in Verhaertspace Company, Belgium.
Role in the Project
Ms Fan started working in the Technische Universiteit Delft in 2010 as an ESR (Early Stage Researcher). She is working on a real time catheter steering mechanism design within magnetic resonance image guidance. This work will be further transplanted into the training simulator.
