Fabiola Fernandez-Guitierrez
Skills/Experience
Fabiola has a Master Degree in Automatic Control, Robotics and Telematics and a Degree in Telecommunication Engineering (5-year degree) from the University of Seville. Before joining the IIIOS project she worked as a research assistant in the Biomedical Engineering Group of the School of Engineering in Seville.
Role in the Project
Fabiola joined the University of Dundee as a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher on the project integrated interventional imaging operating systems (IIIOS). Her work will establish a method for development of workflow for minimally invasive vascular radiology interventions in multimodality image-guided procedures. Also it will provide the design and layout of an Imaging Operating Room ergonomics including subsystem for lights, surgical instruments and equipment and application techniques.
