The Partners
The project has 10 principal partners. They're areas of expertise, project role and key personnel are listed below.
Helene Clogenson
Skills/Experience
M.Sc in biology from the ”Université de Technologie de Compiègne” (UTC), in France, Hélène concentrated on subjects in biomedicine, biomaterials and biomechanics. She gained experience in minimally invasive techniques and clinical studies thanks to two six-month internships:
- Development of a prosthesis and its implantation system in order to treat aneurysms of the abdominal aorta by endovascular repair. TRIPELAY, Paris, France.
- Design and realisation of two clinical trials: Ultrasound detection of adhesion after laparoscopic hernia repair and EVAR (Endovascular aneurysm repair) using a new visualisation system. SINTEF, Trondheim, Norway.
Role in the Project
Hélène joined the IIIOS project as a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher (ESR) at the University of Delft. She is currently investigating material and mechanical design-options for a steerable MRI-compatible catheter. Through planning and execution of a rigorous prototyping phase will be overseen.
