Professor Graeme Houston
Skills/Experience
Professor Houston is chair of Clinical Imaging, University of Dundee. As an interventional and cardiovascular radiologist for 16 years he has worked in the field of vascular stents. His main research has resulted in the formation of Tayside Flow Technologies Ltd in 2000 which now markets vascular grafts on a global basis. Responsible for the scientific, preclinical and clinical trials he has 10 years experience in research, development and testing of cardiovascular devices. In particular he has an extensive experience of cardiovascular fluid dynamics and non-invasive imaging using MRI. Recently he has joined IMSaT as clinical advisor in relation to clinical trials and MRI diagnostic and therapeutic applications of technology.
Role in the Project
Professor Houston will be involved in the supervision and training of IIIOS researchers both in Dundee and across the network.
