Martin Rube
Skills/Experience
Martin completed a 4-year diplom degree in Electrical and Information Technology at Georg Simon Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg. During his studies he worked on a skin cancer detection method based on functional infrared imaging. Before joining the IIIOS project he worked at Siemens Healthcare to write his final thesis. The goal of his thesis was to develop a needle placement concept for MRI-guided interventions.
Role in the Project
Martin joined the University of Dundee as a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher on the project integrated interventional imaging operating systems (IIIOS). The focus of his work will be on marker and tracking development for cardivascular interventions performed under real-time MRI guidance.
