Dr Rachel Toomey
Skills/Experience
Rachel graduated in 2006 from a four year honours degree programme in Radiography at University College Dublin. She returned to UCD to complete her PhD thesis, entitled “Performance of Novel Display Devices in Radiology”. Rachel has also worked as a radiographer prior to joining the IIIOS project.
Role in the Project
Rachel is an Experienced Researcher on IIIOS and will assist in the management of the project. She also aims to provide clinical input and imaging support to the group, and to investigate options for image display and management for the integrated inteventional suite.
